The government has decided to lift most of the restrictions introduced last Thursday.

In short, this means that:

• Sports events can be arranged with spectators. Such events must, however, be take place under carefully controlled conditions to allow for easy contact tracing.

• Public and private social events are allowed again, provided that proper social distancing can be maintained at all times.

• If you are planning to socialise with people outside of your regular social circle, it is strongly recommended that you get tested before you do so.

The health authorities discourage nightlife activities across the country as the Covid situation is not yet fully under control.

“We believe it makes sense to lift some of these restrictions now,” writes Prime Minister in a press release. “It is crucial that we all pull together in these final weeks before we achieve our herd immunity.”
