The weather is a big deal at ólavsøka as it can easily become too hot for people wearing the national costume.
It can also be inconvenient if it rains as the costume can get a bit soggy. But so far, the weather has been perfectly balanced.
Aside from the unusually pleasant ólavsøka weather, the celebrations have proceeded as normal, with lots of happy people gathering in the city centre.
