One new Covid case, domestic transmission
There are currently four active Covid-19 cases in the country

The first domestically transmitted Covid case since 7 August was registered yesterday. The person is linked to a known chain of infection, reports corona.fo.

No positive tests were registered on Sunday.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 2, 0, 1, 0, 0 and 1.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 14 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 36,056 people (67.6 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 33,285 (62.4 percent) have received the second shot.

Plenty of vaccine doses are available to everyone aged 12 and over.
