Four new Covid cases, domestic transmission
There are currently seven active Covid-19 cases in the country

Four people tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo.

All four were infected domestically. One is linked to a known chain of infection, while the infection source has not yet been established for the other three.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0 and 4.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and nine people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 36,785 people (68.9 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 34,713 (65.0 percent) have received the second shot.
