Six new Covid cases
There are currently 28 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Six people tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo.

All six were infected domestically and all are linked to known chains of infection.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 2, 4, 5, 4, 3 and 6.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 143 people are officially listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 37,568 people (70.1 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,640 (66.5 percent) have received the second shot.
