Seven new Covid cases
There are currently 72 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Seven people tested Covid positive yesterday, reports corona.fo.

Six were infected domestically and all are linked to known chains of infection. One tested positive in a follow-up test two days after arriving from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 3, 7, 1, 8, 12, 17 and 7.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 373 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Friday, 37,886 people (70.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,986 (67.2 percent) have received the second shot.
