With yesterday’s 1-0 win over B36, the KÍ women’s side secured its third consecutive Betri division championship title.
Team captain Sanna Svarvadal scored the winning goal three minutes from the final whistle.
Title rivals EBS/Skála did what they could, beating Víkingur at home by four goals to two, but this was not enough to prevent KÍ from clinching the title.
KÍ have yet to lose a match this season.
