Tórshavn residents were treated a beautiful new sight in the city centre this morning

The fence, which has been a cause of annoyance for many Tórshavn residents for months, has finally been taken down, and the new canal running through the city centre is now open for all to see.
Many Tórshavn residents who have been sceptical of the city centre canal appeared to have changed their minds when they saw the finished construction this morning.
The official canal opening ceremony starts tomorrow morning at 10am, featuring speeches, live music and a big breakfast table.
