The Port of Tórshavn has expanded significantly in recent years to meet the growing demands of the Faroese shipping industry.
Tórshavn City Council yesterday approved DKK 1 million for planning work to further expand the port northwards toward the ‘Skansin’ fortress, the one with the iconic red and white lighthouse.
