Despite numerous reminders, the Ministry of the Interior has still not received a final report on the Biskupstorg apartment house plan from Klaksvík City Council.

But mayor Jógvan Skorheim insists that the necessary documents are being prepared. The City Council purchased the ground floor of the business premises in Biskupstorg with the aim of renting it out.

It is this buy-to-rent plan that the Ministry of the Interior is now probing into. Mayor Skorheim says that more information will be available by the end of next week.

The Biskpstorg complex consists of 30 flats. Tenants were originally scheduled to move in last year, but due to delays in the construction work, this has not happened yet.
