Almost all municipalities in the Faroes are enjoying an increase in tax revenue this year.
The country’s largest municipality, Tórshavn, had a DKK 12.3 million increase in tax revenue in January and February this year, compared to the same period last year.
Klaksvík, the second-largest municipality, had an increase of DKK 4 million in the same period.
With a deficit of DKK 36,000, Fugloy is the only municipality without increased council tax revenue this year.
