Last month’s annual Red Cross fundraiser took in DKK 150k more than last year’s event
The Faroese public donated DKK 900,000 at this year’s Red Cross fundraiser

Just over DKK 900,000 was collected at the Red Cross national fundraiser on 7 September.
This is a big jump on last year’s event, which collected DKK 750,000.
The Faroese public are significantly more generous than e.g. Danes.
The average Faroese donation this year was DKK 17, compared to DKK 4 for each Danish citizen last year.
