Ferry services cancelled

Ferry services with Smyril and Teistin have been cancelled due to the poor weather outlook for tonight.

Teistin: today’s last departure from Skopun, Sandoy, will be at 4:35 pm, and the last departure from Gamlarætt, Streymoy, is scheduled at 5:20 pm.

Smyril: today’s last departure from Tórshavn to Tvøroyri will be at 1 pm.

“We have yet to decide what will happen on other routes,” says Marin Gaardlykke, traffic organiser at national transport company Strandfaraskip Landsins.

Bus routes have not yet been affected, but some changes are likely, says Gaardlykke.
