Man rescued after boat crash
A small boat crashed into the shore in Sandoy last
Rescue ship Brimil arrived quickly at the scene where the boat crashed last night.

At 6:20pm yesterday, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre received a report of a boat that had crashed into the shore in Høvdasund, between Sandoy and Trøllhøvdi.
One man was in the boat, and he had managed to climb up on a rock after the boat crashed.
Twenty minutes after the MRCC received the report, rescue ship Brimil arrived at the scene and pulled the man on board.
He was unharmed but said he was very cold.
The boat had drifted out to sea again after the crash, but the Brimil crew caught it and towed it to Skopun, Sandoy, where it was drawn up on land.
