The planned opening of a continuation school in Tvøroyri this summer has been postponed due to a lack of applicants

Føroya Eftirskúli, the country’s first continuation school, will not open its doors this month as originally planned.
The reason is that fewer than 16 applications came in, which is the minimum requirement set by the Ministry of Culture.
The school management says it will continue its plans to establish the school, and that applications for the 2020/2021 school year will be accepted from early next year.
