The construction industry leads the way in importing foreign workers.
With 99 work permits, building firm Articon was the company issued the highest number of work permits, according to a new survey on foreign workers in the Faroe Islands.
The Mest consortium was in second place with 61 work permits, followed by temp agencies DMA International and Firmport.
The other companies on the top 10 list are J & K Petersen Contractors, Smyril Line, Húsavarðartænastan, IR Lastbilar, Fiskavirkið and Gist & Vist.
