The public will now be given detailed information about insurance compensations.
Next year, insurance firms will pay up to DKK 126 million for personal injury or a lost head-of-household.
The Road Traffic Act specifies the amounts that insurance providers should pay for material damage.
This type of compensation will be up to DKK 25 million in 2020.
The Road Traffic Act was amended in 2015, and traffic accident compensation amounts will be adjusted by 2 percent each year.
A proposal detailing next year’s amounts has been submitted to Parliament.
