Cancellations are starting to roll in as the number of new Covid-19 cases is rising.

Faroese football association FSF announced yesterday that no spectators will be allowed to attend adult league games until 22 August or until further notice.

All teams are urged to keep up to date with the Covid-19 guidelines regarding training and matches.

Culture night called off

The organisers of Tórshavn’s annual Culture Night have also announced that this year’s event will be cancelled.

For the past many years, the Culture Night has been held on the first Friday of June, but the Covid-19 pandemic forced the organisers to initially postpone the event to 11 September.

Due to the new situation, however, it has now become clear that there will be no Culture Night this year.
