Eleven new Covid cases registered

Eleven new positive Covid-19 tests have so far been registered from tests carried out on Monday and yesterday.

Nine of these came out of Monday’s testing round and three from yesterday’s round. One of the positive tests from Monday’s testing was included in the figures from Sunday.

This is, however, only a provisional figure, as 171 tests from Monday and more than 1,500 from yesterday are yet to be analysed.

According to corona.fo, the daily number of positive tests announced since last Wednesday has been as follows: 14, 38, 16, 11, 7, 10, 9, 3.

More than 1,000 people are currently in quarantine and, according to the latest figures, there are still no Covid-19 patients in hospital.
