Number of active Covid cases now down to 84

The 1,679 Covid tests carried out yesterday resulted in one positive result, reports corona.fo.

The positive test was identified in an inbound traveller at Vágar Airport.

Twenty-six people have recovered since yesterday, bringing the number of active cases to 84.

Three Covid patients are still in hospital, one of whom has now been discharged from intensive care.

The total number of positive Covid tests confirmed this month is 157.

Just over 300 people are currently registered as being in quarantine.
