Stone age bread mix from Amo and ecological sesame seeds from Kornkammeret are being recalled over excessive pesticide concerns

The two products pictured above have been taken off Faroese shelves after it emerged that they may contain excessive amounts of the ethylene oxide pesticide.
The recalled Amo Stenalderbrød product has a net weight of 500g covering all ‘best before’ dates. The recalled Kornkammeret Økologist sesamfrø product has a net weight of 200g covering all ‘best before’ dates.
The Faroese Food Agency is calling on people who have purchased these products to either return them to the store where they bought it or throw them away.
