Four new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 358 Covid tests yielded four positive results, reports corona.fo.

All four persons travelled to the Faroes from abroad. Two of them tested positive in follow-up tests six days after arrival, while the other two registered positive after pre-departure testing in Denmark.

Over the past week, the daily number of positive tests has been as follows: 1, 0, 0, 2, 0, 1 and 4.

No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 66 people are in quarantine.
