The Faroese national football team pulled one of the greatest surprises in football history when they beat Austria 1-0 in its first ever competitive international game in September 1990.
And now comes another chance to repeat the feat as the Faroese side has been drawn against Austria again for the qualification rounds of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The other teams in the group will be Denmark, Scotland, Israel and Moldova.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the qualification process has suffered some postponements. Qualification games are scheduled to take place next year.
