Five new Covid-19 cases and one hospitalisation

Yesterday’s round of 1,056 Covid-19 tests yielded five positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

Four of the infected people are linked to a known chain of infection, while the fifth tested positive in a follow-up test four days after arrival in the country.

Over the past week, the daily numbers of positive tests have been as follows: 4, 0, 4. 5, 0, 1 and 5.

One person is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 92 people are in quarantine.
