Two new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 1,020 Covid-19 tests yielded two positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

One of the infected people tested positive on arrival at the airport, while the other tested positive in a follow-up test three days after arrival in the country. Both have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

Over the past week, the daily numbers of positive tests have been as follows: 0, 1, 5, 3, 0, 2 and 2.

No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 107 people are in quarantine.
