Seven new Covid cases
Two people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19

Yesterday’s round of 1,003 Covid tests yielded seven positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.
Six of the new cases are linked to a known chain of infection. It is currently unclear how the remaining one contracted the virus. All seven persons have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.
Over the past week, the daily numbers of positive tests have been as follows: 0, 2, 2, 2, 0, 5 and 7.
There are now 28 active Covid-19 cases in the country. Two of these are in hospital, and the latest figures show that 72 people are in quarantine.
