Three new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 1,815 tests yielded three positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

One person tested positive on arrival from abroad, one tested positive in a follow-up test three days after arriving in the country, while the third is linked to a known chain of infection.

Over the past week, the daily numbers of positive tests have been as follows: 2, 2, 0, 5, 7, 1 and 3.

Two people are currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 101 people are in quarantine.

Corona helpline operating hours over the holidays

The Corona helpline (phone number: 304040) will be open at the following times over the Christmas period:

• 24 December: 10am-12noon

• 25 December: 10am-12noon

• 26 December: 10am-12noon

• 27 December: 10am-12noon

• 28 December: 10am-3pm

• 29 December: 10am-3pm

• 30 December: 10am-3pm

These times are subject to change according to demand.
