Six new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 1,882 tests yielded six positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.
Two tested positive in follow-up tests three and five days after arriving in the country. The remaining four are believed to have contracted the virus domestically. All six have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

Over the past week, the daily numbers of positive tests have been as follows: 2, 0, 5, 7, 1, 3 and 6.
Two people are currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 101 people are in quarantine.
