Four new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 1,499 tests yielded four positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

One of the four is linked to a known chain of infection. The other three are linked to a new chain of infection currently being investigated by the chief medical officer. All four persons have been isolated.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 4, 5, 0, 4, 6, 2 and 4.

Two people are currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 148 people are in quarantine.
