The first positive test since Monday 25 January was registered yesterday.
The person tested positive in a follow-up test two days after arrival in the Faroes.
There are currently four active Covid-19 cases in the country.
One person is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and nine people are in quarantine.
