One new Covid case

Yesterday’s round of 283 tests yielded one positive outcome, reports corona.fo.

The person tested positive in a follow-up test six days after arriving in the Faroes from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0 and 1.

One person is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and nine people are in quarantine.

The latest figures, updated yesterday, show that 4,051 people (7.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the Covid vaccine, while 606 have received the second shot.
