Four active Covid cases remaining

Yesterday’s 576 tests yielded one positive outcome, reports corona.fo.

The person tested positive in a follow-up test a few days after arrival in the Faroes from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0 and 1.

One person is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and ten people are in quarantine.

The latest figures, updated today, show that 4,126 people (7.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the Covid vaccine, while 1,039 (2 percent) have received the second shot.
