Romania now has an honorary consul in the Faroe Islands.
Faroese lawyer Jens Andrias Vinther has been appointed to the role.
He will work with the Romanian Embassy in Denmark to help strengthen the ties between the countries, including creating awareness of Romanian culture in the Faroes.
