One new Covid case
An incoming traveller tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
Genome sequencing of the positive sample revealed that it contained the rapid-spreading UK Covid-19 strain, known as B.1.1.7.

There are currently two active Covid cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19 and three people are currently listed as being in quarantine.
The latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, show that 9,552 people (18 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 5,088 (9.5 percent) have received the second shot.
