Revised age groups for vaccines
The Faroese Covid vaccination programme will be completed by the first week of August, according to the revised vaccination calendar.
According to the latest revision of the vaccination programme, the remaining categories of vaccine recipients have been organised into one so-called group 10 – the 16-64 age group.
To ease the pressure on the vaccination centres, group 10 has been split into five subgroups:
55-64 year-olds
45-54 year-olds
34-44 year-olds
25-34 year-olds
16-24 year-olds

This means that the 55-64 age group will soon be eligible to register for vaccines.
People who are in risk groups will be given priority within each age group. Here is a list of risk groups (in Faroese and Danish).
Once this subgroup has been vaccinated, the 45-54 group is next in line, etc.
