Scandinavian Airlines will be offering a thrice-weekly flight service between Denmark and the Faroes from next month

SAS will resume flights between Denmark and the Faroes on 11 June.

There will initially be three weekly flights, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, reports news portal Vágaportalurin.

From 28 June, the airline will offer daily return flights between Denmark and the Faroes, with the exception of Saturdays, according to the airline’s booking site.

SAS suspended its Faroe Islands-Denmark flights on 1 October due to reduced passenger demand caused by the Covid pandemic and the mandatory Covid test charges imposed on passengers by Faroese authorities.
