Three new Covid cases

Three new Covid-19 cases were registered yesterday.
All three are linked to a known chain of infection.

Confirming what a recently infected man indicated yesterday, chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard Møller says the coronavirus is on the loose again in the Faroes.
“This new situation should be treated with utmost caution,” he said yesterday.

“However, it is too early to make any decisions about reinstating restrictions. Let’s see how the situation develops over the coming days.”
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2 and 3.
No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 28 people are listed as being in quarantine.
