No church services tomorrow
Following advice from the health authorities, the Church of the Faroe Islands (Fólkakirkjan) is taking precautionary measures given the current Covid situation.
This means there will be no church services tomorrow. A post on the Fólkakirkjan Facebook profile reads as follows:
“Our decision was made after the health authorities announced that all social events, public as well as private, should either be postponed or cancelled.”
The church may conduct Christenings, wedding ceremonies and funerals, but the health authorities advise against any social events in connection with such occasions.
