Three new Covid cases
Two are believed to be infected in Tórshavn’s nightlife last weekend

Three positive results came out of yesterday’s 1,312 Covid tests, reports corona.fo.

One is linked to a known chain of infection. The infection source of the other two has not yet been established, but both persons believe they caught the virus in Tórshavn’s nightlife last Saturday night.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 1, 0, 3, 1, 2, 0 and 3.

There are currently 13 active Covid-19 cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 103 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 26,596 people (53.6 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 19,749 (37 percent) have received the second shot.
