Ten new Covid cases

Ten positive results came out of yesterday’s 1,518 Covid tests.
Seven are linked to a known chain of infection, one tested positive upon arrival from abroad and the source of two persons’ infection remains unknown.
Everyone present at the safari play area in Tórshavn's SMS shopping centre on Monday 2pm-6pm is asked to get tested. This plea from the chief medical officer comes as two people who tested positive were in and around the SMS play area during these hours.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 2, 0, 3, 0, 3, 9 and 10.
There are currently 34 active Covid cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 233 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.
According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 30,899 people (58 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 20,993 (39.4 percent) have received the second shot.
