There are still no signs of mass infection after last week's ólavsøka festivities.

Yesterday’s 1,091 Covid tests yielded no positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 2, 0, 1, 2, 0, 2 and 0.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 58 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 34,946 people (65.5 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 30,080 (56.4 percent) have received the second shot.

Plenty of vaccine doses are available to everyone aged 16 and over.
