Two new Covid cases since Monday
There are currently eight active Covid-19 cases in the country

Two new Covid cases were registered yesterday and none on Tuesday. Both tested positive on arrival from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0 and 2.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 11 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 35,793 people (67.1 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 32,602 (61.1 percent) have received the second shot.

Plenty of vaccine doses are available to everyone aged 12 and over.
