Deadline looming for Faroese language courses

Those wishing to secure their spot in Tórshavn’s evening classes this winter need to be ready at their keyboards at 6pm today.

This is the official start of online enrolment for this winter’s evening classes.

However, applications have already opened for those wishing to study Faroese as a second language. These courses start in two weeks’ time, and places tend to fill quickly, according to the organisers.

Some general changes have been made to the evening school enrolment system, one being that it is no longer possible to register for more than one course at a time.
