The national vaccination programme is progressing well, but the vaccination rate has gone down slightly in recent weeks, according to the Hospital Service.

To make it easier for people across the country to get vaccinated, the service has teamed up with local authorities across the country.

Successful trials

The mobile vaccination team has so far visited in Vágar, Runavík and on the remote islands. All these efforts proved a big success, and now the team is going back on the road.

On Monday and Tuesday, the team will visit in Norðoyggjar, followed by a visit to Sandoy. After this, the plan is to cover all the villages in Suðuroy and Norðstreymur.
