Nine new Covid cases
Nine people tested Covid positive yesterday. Eight were infected domestically, and the infection source of one person has yet to be identified.
Schools in Tórshavn are affected and the necessary measures have been put in place.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 4 and 9.
There are currently 16 active Covid-19 cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and eight people are currently listed as being in quarantine, although the number is believed to be higher.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Friday, 36,785 people (68.9 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 34,713 (65.0 percent) have received the second shot.
