Ten new Covid cases

Yesterday’s 615 Covid tests resulted in ten positive cases, reports corona.fo.

All were infected in the Faroes, and all are linked to known chains of infection.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 8, 12, 8, 4, 9, ? and 10. (Friday's test results are not available on corona.fo).

There are currently 87 active Covid-19 cases in the country. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 187 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Friday, 38,890 people (72.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 36,977 (69.1 percent) have received the second shot.
