Third Covid jabs now available to high-risk groups
People with poor immunity will now be offered a third Covid booster shot.
The first eligible people have been called in to receive their shots, and the Hospital Service is working with elderly homes across the country to arrange further booster shots.

Yesterday’s 1,341 Covid tests resulted in nine positive cases, reports corona.fo.
All were infected in the Faroes, and all are linked to known chains of infection.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 17, 10, 22, 7, 3, 17 and 9.
There are currently 121 active Covid-19 cases in the country. One person is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 405 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 38,471 people (71.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 36,538 (68.2 percent) have received the second shot.
