Twenty-six new Covid cases
Yesterday’s 1,006 Covid tests resulted in 26 positive cases, reports corona.fo.
Twenty-four were infected in the Faroes, and all but one of these are linked to known chains of infection. Two people tested positive in follow-up tests after arriving from abroad.
The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 9, ?, 10, 6, 13, 15 and 26.
No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 169 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 39,060 people (73.0 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 37,324 (69.8 percent) have received the second shot.
