Fifty-five new Covid cases

Yesterday's 3,664 Covid tests resulted in 55 positive cases, reports corona.fo.

All the people in question have been notified by the health authorities, and extensive contact tracing is underway.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 71, 63, 67, 76, 85, 111 and 55.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 40,205 people (75.2 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, 38,142 (71.3 percent) have received the second shot.
