The Covid-19 situation around us, especially in Denmark, is bewildering, and there are indications that we might soon see similar trends here in the Faroes, according to a government press release.

For this reason, the revised Covid recommendations issued on 9 December have now been extended beyond the initially planned date of 23 December to 2 January.

The crisis commission, consisting of government ministries, local authorities, the Faroese arm of the Arctic Command and the police chief, will be meeting this afternoon to discuss the Covid situation.
